ARROW Will Be ‘Demented’ This October

Hallow’s Eve is nearly upon us, ARROW will make sure October will be a month Halloween treats. Horror like no other, cult slasher documentary  and a month that will be quintessential demented!

Key highlights this will include the exclusive premiere of Chad Crawford Kinkle’s groundbreaking horror DEMENTER, and Halloween treats in the form of 80s slasher rediscovery DEATH SCREAMS, a documentary on the classic THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE,  a pair of chilling CHILDREN OF THE CORN sequels, as well as ghosts, ghouls, vampires, Charles Manson and so much more…

Acclaimed director of indie horror hit Jug Face (aka The Pit), Chad Crawford Kinkle, returns with DEMENTER, a psychological horror thriller branded as  “an impressionistic, poetic occult-horror film” (Nashville Scene). Raw and unsettling, the film  is a brave and unflinching story of lives lived on the fringes of society, and a battle with demons inside and out. Shot on real locations with many non-actors playing versions of themselves – including Kinkle’s real life sister Stephanie – this is a deeply personal genre film with an emotional punch that lingers long after the credits have rolled. The film will be streaming with a host of brand new extras that illuminate the making of this uniquely innovative horror.

ARROW is  delivers  some Halloween goodies , and then some, with the return of “He Who Walks Behind The Rows” in the chilling sequels CHILDREN OF THE CORN Parts II and III; the definitive documentary on one of the greatest horror films ever made, TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE SHOCKING TRUTH; and a rediscovered and restored 80s slasher gem, DEATH SCREAMS arriving with extras. ARROW is also proud to present the definitive restored edition of one of the most famous of all silent movies, F. W. Murnau’s NOSFERATU, a film that continues to haunt — and, indeed, terrify — modern audiences with a waking nightmare that changed cinema history forever.

For those in need of a gritty crime fix, ARROW is showing Seasons 3 and 4 of the acclaimed no-holds-barred French cop series BRAQUO, with Caplan (the terrific Jean-Hughes Anglade) and his team of rogue cops out for some serious vengeance.

New Seasons this October include The Shocktober 31, with 31 of our favourite horror titles streaming on ARROW each day including Deadly Manor, The Crazies, Kolobos, Beyond the Door, and Demons; Shocktober Essentials, a devilishly curated selection of twelve must-watch collections featuring Zombies, Vampires, Monsters, Spirits, Giallo, Slashers, Comedies, Gore, Psychological, Documentaries, 70s Horrors and 80s horrors; and Monster Mash, a selection of Japanese monster movies, all suitably spooky for Halloween month, including 100 Monsters, Along with Ghosts and The Snake girl and the Silver Haired-Witch.
