Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn Get Kidnapped In Snatched Trailer
It’s nearly been 15 years Goldie Hawn is set to return to the big screen starring alongside Amy Schumer in comedy, Snatched. Twentieth Century Fox has sent us the UK trailer as the pair are a Mother-Daughter combo end up on the holiday from hell. They may be a match made in heaven but the pair finds themselves kidnapped but hell for the pair is more than been held for ransom.
No synopsis accompanied the trailer but you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to guess the low down. Snatched we find Emily (Schumer) all set to go on holiday with her boyfriend but suddenly finds herself dumped. Not wanting to give up on her holiday to South America, she decides to take her nervy mum (Hawn) instead. As the pair kicked off their ‘fun in the sun’ they find themselves kidnapped.
The movie marks Goldie Hawn‘s big screen return with 2002 Banger Sisters been her last foray and seems a solid yang to Schumer’s Ying. Amy Schumer is quickly becoming a darling of comedic movies could that crown continue with this one? Possibly. These girls can handle their drink, they can party hard but was that a ‘welcome’ or ‘whale cum’? Those girls are just like melted candles!
Jonathan Levine (50/50) directs this one and many of his previous movies have had a mixture humour and bittersweet emotion and this one might just deliver that tone too. Amy Schumer has a certain brand of humour to really shine, you wonder if this movie will give her the right platform? There are a few teases (‘whale cum’ and few F-bombs) suggest she might just get her wish.
Snatched is set for a 12th May 2017 UK&Irish Release date and stars Christopher Meloni, Ike Barinholtz, Óscar Jaenada, Randall Park, and Wanda Sykes.
