They Are Not Alone In Space, Watch The Last Days Of Mars UK Trailer

We’ve been asking for decades are we alone in the universe? If we go by the new UK trailer for The Last Days Of Mars we’re not and it’s something sinister we should leave alone!

The Last Days Of Mars tells the tale of the first ever maned mission to Mars who on their final day on the red planet are preparing to head home when a crew member discovers evidence of life. Disobeying orders the member goes out to find the fossilized bacterial life sample but his excavation turns to disaster when the ground around him collapses leaving him for dead. With the crew devastated they attempt to rescue him  another person disappears and the fossilized  life may not be dead after all!

The Alien franchise has a big inspiration on this film especially Prometheus but will the recognizable plot  with the goo and offensively curious scientists save the film especially with Europa Report and Gravity on the horizon? For a low budget film the VFX are impressive and with a decent cast behind the film The Last Days of Mars might  not be bad after all especially if Looper helmer Ruairi Robinson is directing.

The Last Day Of Mars stars Liev Schreiber, Romola Garai, Elias Koteas, Olivia Williams, Johnny Harris, Goran Kostic and Tom Cullen. No date has been confirmed for UK&Irish release yet.

A longer American trailer has now been released which extends on the UK version possibly to a point revealing too much spoiling everything.
