A Quiet Place New Clips Up The Tension

A Quiet Place (2018) - Emily Blunt

As we slowly creep closer to the release of A Quiet Place, Paramount Pictures are upping the tension with a couple of new clips.

Starring John Krasinski who doubles up as director, next to his real wife Emily Blunt. It’s his wife and their onscreen kids (Noah Jupe and Millicent Simmonds) who take centre stage in these clips.

In the first clip entitled ‘Bathtub’, it seems Evelyn (Blunt) is going into labour. As we’ve learned so far, any noise we make they will find you and hunt you. Any women who have given birth, there’s no such thing as a ‘quiet birth’.

In the second clip, ‘Silo‘ we find the kids hiding in the silo, but what lurks around them? Has a creature found them? These clips may be very short, they do amp up anxiety and tension the family is under!

In the modern horror thriller A QUIET PLACE, a family of four must navigate their lives in silence after mysterious creatures that hunt by sound threatens their survival.
If they hear you, they hunt you.

We all know a lot of films come with a lot of hype, sadly very few deliver. From it’s SXSW film festival premiere and the reviews that came with it, this one is delivering. It’s looking like a creature feature with a brain. Intelligent play on the tensions, the fears and the simple fact you don’t need words to make things scary. This certainly looks like it’s one that will play on your mind, rather than the mysterious creatures in your face.

A Quiet Place will be released in the UK and Ireland from 5th April, with previews on 2nd April.
