See What He Sees In The First Don’t Breathe 2 UK Trailer
When the sins of your past come back they’ll be nowhere to run. Behold as Sony Pictures releases the first (UK) Trailer for Don’t Breathe 2 as Norman Nordstrom’s solace life is about to be interrupted.
The blind man is back. Stephen Lang returns as Norman, in the sequel of the home invasion thriller that took us all by surprise, but can they replicate that success again? But is Norman about to be the villain turn hero? As we know it’s his past that’s returning could we learn about what made him blind? I wonder if there is some Greek mythology element to his backstory like emaciated king Phineus and the harpies or Tiresias the clairvoyant ?
The main aim for this second film was not to be a repeat of the first film which as we know defeats sometime the purpose of a sequel. Yes film has some of those tropes with a whole load of new ones with Norman now someone to protect apart from himself? Who is this daughter type figure Phoenix (Madelyn Grace) or is she simply manipulating his trust? The primal instincts and fight are there and a badass film on the cards!
The sequel is set in the years following the initial deadly home invasion, where Norman Nordstrom (Stephen Lang) lives in quiet solace until his past sins catch up to him.
The film also stars Brendan Sexton III, Madelyn Grace, Bobby Schofield, Rocci Williams, Steffan Rhodri, and Stephanie Arcila. Fede Alvarez returns only to produce with Rodo Sayagues directing this one in his feature debut.
Don’t Breathe 2 will arrive in UK, Irish and U.S cinemas from 13th August.
