Every One Has A Story In Netflix’s Been So Long Trailer

La La Land in Camden? Oh yes, folks Tinge Krishnan‘s Been So Long will be released on Netflix later this month after it makes its premiere at London’s Film Festival. Today the streaming giants release the indie film’s Trailer, a romantic musical set on the streets of London.

Starring Michaela Coel as a hard working single mum who has an unusual night with a handsome stranger with a troubled past(Arinzé Kene). Songs will fly, dance steps will tap out on the streets of North London. This may not completely fill that void Damien Chazelle’s award-winning, but it will bring a smile to your face.

Romance, rage, and revenge. Been So Long is a neon-soaked, modern day romance set on the streets of London’s musical hot-bed of Camden. We follow Simone (Michaela Coel), a dedicated single mother who, on a rare night on the town is charmed by a handsome yet troubled stranger, Raymond (Arinzé Kene), igniting old and new feelings. Set against the backdrop of an ever-changing city, Been So Long is a fresh take on love, life and moving on.

The film stars George MacKay, Joe Dempsie, Luke Norris, Arsher Ali, Tom Forbes, Ashley Thomas, and Rakie Ayola.

Been Song Long will be available on Netflix from 26th October, after premieres at the BFI London Film Festival on 12 October.
