Sorry To Bother You UK Trailer Destiny Is Calling Lakeith Stanfield

Since its world premiere at this year’s Sundance Film Festival back in January, Sorry To Bother You is finally been released in the UK. Today the marketing train left Universal Pictures with the release of the UK Trailer, a film at one point wasn’t getting an international distribution according to director Boots Riley. It’s a film that comes with a lot of hype, as one of the best reviewed films in the USA this year.
An unconventional story starring Lakeith Stanfield and it seems his destiny is calling him. He plays a half-hearted telemarketer who jas the power of the ‘white voice’ (voiced by David Cross) on the telephone. With his ‘new voice’ he slowly becomes a star of the company that suddenly turns his life upside down.
In an alternate reality of present-day Oakland, Calif., telemarketer Cassius Green finds himself in a macabre universe after he discovers a magical key that leads to material glory. As Green’s career begins to take off, his friends and co-workers organize a protest against corporate oppression. Cassius soon falls under the spell of Steve Lift, a cocaine-snorting CEO who offers him a salary beyond his wildest dreams.
Directed by Boots Riley, the film also stars Tessa Thompson, Armie Hammer, Terry Crews, Steven Yeun, Omari Hardwick, Danny Glover, and Jermaine Fowler.
Sorry To Bother You will arrive in the Uk and Ireland from 7th December.
