When you see the name of The Justice League Movie‘s villain you will automatically think Easy Rider and that legendary song. But Irish actor Ciaran Hinds may ‘get your motor running’ as the Game Of Thrones actor has been cast as Steppenwolf in Zack Snyder‘s Justice League .
So how can they add a new character to a movie that’s apparently wrapped shooting? According to The Wrap, the prolific actor’s character will be a CGI-created character which makes it easy for them to add into the scenes or create new ones. Anyone who bought the Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn Of Justice Extended home release version will have seen a deleted scene which Steppenwolf. In that scene, he is communicating with Lex Luthor thanks to the Kryptonian ship.
Check out the scene…
Hinds actually just finished the scenes and according to the news source the way the Warner Bros. have created the character pretty much the same way James Brolin has with Thanos in Avengers Infinity Wars.
Whilst the above clip doesn’t actually reveal who the Alien actually is but all the current theories point to Steppenwolf. In this, clip we do also see the alien with three boxes which are described as ‘McGuffins’ or official name ‘Mother Boxes’.
It will hunt down all 3 of them with one in Atlantis (home of Aquaman), another in Themyscira (Wonder Woman’s home), with the final part of Justice League member, Cyborg.
Producer Charles Roven said “[Back] before there was a history … mankind, the Atlanteans — before they were under water — the Amazonians and, actually, the old gods, teamed together and decided that — based on an event that happened — these mother boxes were going to be placed in the care of, as I say, the Amazonians, mankind and the Atlanteans,So that allows us to get into some of those environments.”
Like many Comic book adaptation movie, Steppenwolf will have the customary upgrade new look, hopefully for the better rather the Doctor Doom, Fantastic Four ‘upgrade’.
Justice League movie us set for a November 2017 release date.
