If you want blood and guts, slicing and dicing, then Warner Bros Pictures might have the film for you at the end of March. Kirill Sokolov (Why Don’t You Just Die) is no stranger to spilling a lot of things in his films and Warner Bros are hoping that will include popcorn.
This is the director’s English language feature debut. They Will Kill You follows a young woman (Beetz) who works as a housekeeper at The Virgil, a high end hotel in New York. What she doesn’t know is that the hotel is the HQ for a satanic cult and she is the next offering!
This one also stars Myha’La, Paterson Joseph, Tom Felton, Heather Graham, and Patricia Arquette. On producing duties are Andy and Barbara Muschietti (IT, IT: Welcome To Derry, Mama).
This looks to share a lot of themes of Ready Or Not 2:Here I Come, which arrives two weeks later in the UK (April 10th). It will be interesting to see how both films will fare with genre as well as mainstream cinephiles.
