If you live in the U.S this might look familiar as it’s movie version of the Quibi series. Now re-cut into a movie available later this month globally.
After last year’s The Unbearable Weight Of Massive Talent when Nicolas Cage played Nicolas Cage, now it’s Hart‘s turn. Apart from not looking a tad funny, this time Hart wants to be taken seriously as a action star rather than comedic roles.
How this got 80% Rotten Tomatoes is beyond us. Kudos to our leading wannabe action man making fun of himself in the name of entertainment. Just a shame it’s humourless, unless you are a big fan, this look fun in everyway.
Die Hart sees Kevin Hart playing a fictionalised version of himself, as he sets out to pivot from being pigeonholed as a comedy wingman to being taken seriously as an action movie star. Hart attends “action hero school” run by Ron Wilcox, played by John Travolta (Paradise City, Eye for an Eye), where he attempts to learn the ropes on how to become one of the industry’s most coveted action stars.
The film stars also John Travolta, Nathalie Emmanuel, Josh Hartnett, and Jean Reno. If you are really desperate to see this, Prime Video will release Die Hart The Movie on 24th February.
