Will Bradley Cooper Be Steven Soderbergh’s Man From U.N.C.L.E?

It looks like Steven Soderbergh has found his Napoleon Solo for his big screen adaptation of  Man From U.N.C.L.E for Warner Bros and it looks like it’s Bradley Cooper.

According To  Variety  the A-Team/The Hangover  star is the director’s first choice after George Clooney pulled out due to the fear of the injuries he sustained whilst working on Syriana  would be aggravated due to the stunts that he would have to perform. It seems this film project has attracted some major names like Matt Damon, Johnny Depp even Michael Fassbender , Ewan McGregor both reportedly circling the part the reports says a deal thatt virtually done sealed and delivered.

Solo was a character co created by Ian Fleming James Bond creator a reason why his stylings  and traits very similar too Bond a character played by Robert Vaughan , a character more laidback than 007 but still was able to attract the exotic women. The Man From U.N.C.L.E was a popular spy series aired in USA first by CBS between 1964 to 1968   an American/Russian secret agency called United Network Command for Law and Enforcement which saw Solo team up with Russian agent Illyva Kuryakin played by David McCallum. The pair went onto create a formidable team which took on THRUSH (don’t laugh or scratch) an evil organisation plotting world domination.

When they do come around to start shooting this film it will be filmed in London which we believe will be around March next year based on a Scott Z Burns script, this period of time giving Soderbergh plenty of time to finish Magic Mike (Channing Tatum). If all things go to plan Cooper also a very busy actor will have Paradise Lost and David O’Russell’s The Silver Linings Play Book the film he is working on now complete
