First Trailer For Angelina Jolie Directorial Debut In The Land Of Blood And Honey
I always remember at school when many of the boys in my class who wanted to be the next big thing in football but as the PE teacher used to say learn your craft boys but also learn another trade as you never know how long the dream will last if you break through. That is probably the wisest thing a person can say especially in football when you reach mid 30’s you might end up like me unemployed, its the same in film & television more and more actors are learning their trade behind the camera too with Angelina Jolie the latest.
Right away your mind probably thinks, Angelina Jolie mega Hollywood Actress it’ll be an over the top typical Blockbuster but you’ll be wrong. In The Land Of Blood And Honey actually looks a good film a simple love story about a Bosnian woman and a Serbian man during the Bosnian Serb war of the 1990s but the story of love might simple but its complicated Bosnian woman is a Muslim and Serbs non Muslim with religion one of the many reasons a war broke out. I’ve noticed many websites talking about Oscars nods which maybe a little premature though it is a strong looking film however this film was made a while ago but no screenings have been shown or have we seen any form of promotion until now this trailer may not be Officially released either. Film District will be releasing this one it has has a cast of unknowns Milos Timotijevic, Alma Terzic, Zana Marjanovic, Goran Kostic, Rade Serbedzija and Branko Djuric with USA only country with any type of released scheduled with December 23rd, UK date to be confirmed.
