Who Will Win The 2021 Women’s Royal Rumble Match?

Since the first women’s Royal Rumble match in 2018, it has become a yearly tradition. Two Rumble matches a year is great, especially since one of those matches shines a light on the women’s division. But just who will win the 2021 women’s Royal Rumble match? Let’s take a look at a few names that have been floating around…

Rhea Ripley

A little over two years ago, Rhea Ripley made her first main roster appearance in the 2019 women’s Royal Rumble match. It’s fair to say that since then she has been a rising star not only in NXT but the entire company.

Going as far as having a classic match with Charlotte Flair at Wrestlemania 36, she has gone from strength to strength. It has been said that she recently finished her run in NXT and that can only mean she is main roster bound.

An appearance at the Rumble would make sense, as she has had the experience before and is no stranger to showing off her capabilities on a big stage. Better yet, her winning this year’s women’s Rumble would be a massive statement and would see her continue to rise to the top of the women’s division, something that is not unrealistic for her whatsoever.

Bianca Belair

In such a short time Bianca Belair has proven her worth and shown that there is way more to come from her. One of the best athletes in the company, there is a star that is waiting to rise. There is no doubt that the Rumble match will once again display just how good she is.

However, her main roster run took a little too long to get going, but finally, she has been able to get her stride going and ever since she has come out strong. At this point, it is simply a matter of seeing her on Smackdown Live more often, something which few would argue against.

Her cameo in last year’s women’s Rumble match was one of that matches highlights. Now we have seen just how much potential there is to be unlocked within Belair, perhaps we will be treated to another dominant showing from the EST of WWE.

Alexa Bliss

2020 was a great year for Alexa Bliss, her character transition was done superbly and now as the sidekick to the Fiend Bray Wyatt, she has quickly slotted into the role and looked great at the same time.

Scoring a win against RAW Women’s Champion Asuka this past week on RAW was somewhat a shock. With Bray Wyatt currently off WWE TV after being burned by Randy Orton at TLC, she has been provided time in the spotlight by herself.

A Rumble match win for Bliss would only add to her list of accolades in her career, this being one of the few she is yet to achieve. Whilst she might not be the outright favourite to win the match, she will more than likely have a very strong showing.

Bayley

Not too long off the back of her dominant Smackdown Live Women’s Championship reign, Baley still remains on weekly TV. The past two years have been strong for her and there is no doubt she will remain a prominent part of the women’s division.

However, we do have to wonder what is next for Bayley? her championship reign did not end too long ago, so it would seem as if it is too early for her to be pushed back into the title picture.

Nonetheless, it should not be a surprise to any of us if she should make at least the final four of this year’s women’s Royal Rumble match.
