Admit it, we’ve all told a ‘little white lie’ to get something or ahead. In the official Trailer for upcoming romcom Upgraded an intern wants to impress, things just get out of control!

Camilla Mendes is that intern Ana who wants to impress her demanding boss Claire (Marisa Tomei) an art gallery owner. Her ambitions push her to get upgrade on a flight on a work trip meeting Will (Archie Renaux). A handsome man who believes she is the boss and her white lie spirals out of control.

Tomei seems to be ‘possessed’ by Meryl Streep‘s Devil Wears Prada Miranda. That would scare any employee new or old, I would not be surprised if Carlson Young had the character in mind. Like any ‘lie’ big or small you will always get found out.

This is another film that tick all the boxes for a Romcom. Plus it’s out in time for Valentine’s Day and that’s all fans of this sub-genre need to know.

Ana (Camila Mendes) is an ambitious intern dreaming of a career in the art world while trying to impress her demanding boss Claire (Marisa Tomei). When she’s upgraded to first class on a work trip, she meets handsome Will (Archie Renaux), who mistakes Ana for her boss– a white lie that sets off a glamorous chain of events, romance and opportunity, until her fib threatens to surface.

The film also stars Thomas Kretschmann, Gregory Montel, Aimee Carrero, Andrew Schulz, Rachel Matthews, with Lena Olin and Marisa Tomei, also starring, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Anthony Head, and Saoirse-Monica Jackson.

Upgraded will premiere globally on Prime Video from 9th February.
