Watch UK Trailers For Raw Coming Of Age Horror That Will Make You ‘Faint’

When you create a horror you want to unleash a range of emotions along with entertaining the viewer. Occasionally we get a movie that takes that to another level, Julia Ducournau‘s Raw is one of those and will have you ‘fainting’ in your seat!

After a successful festival run which started at 2016 Toronto Film Festival, Universal Pictures are ready to show why this will be the most disgusting, intelligent to see this year. Today we have not one but two UK trailers (Red and Green Band)to curtail your urge for flesh…

2016 was a wonderful year for the horror with so many amazing movies, now 2017 is here things are looking good for the genre fans. A visceral coming of age tale that hopes to unshackle those cannibalistic urges.

Everyone in Justine’s (Garance Marillier) family is a vet. And a vegetarian. At 16, she’s a brilliant and promising student. When she starts at veterinary school, she enters a decadent, merciless and dangerously seductive world. During the first week of hazing rituals, desperate to fit in whatever the cost, she strays from her family principles when she eats raw meat for the first time. Justine will soon face the terrible and unexpected consequence of her actions as her true self begins to emerge

France over the years has released some of the best brutal, unhinged movies in the history of the genre. Martyrs, Switchblade Romance, Inside, Livid, Frontier(s) all movies that shaped ‘French horror new wave‘. Brutal, extreme, stylish and Raw will certainly be filed under those aforementioned movies. When the movie played at Toronto it was reported people were passing out, getting sick all thanks to the movie’s gore. To anyone who’s not an avid horror fan things might be a tad uncomfortable, even find it disturbing. From what we’ve read it’s not looking for a straight forward shock values but more psychological.

Raw will be released in UK & Ireland on 7th April, co-starring Ella Rumpf and Rabah Naït Oufella.
