Watch UK Trailer For Reawkening Starring Jared Harris

Signature Entertainment have unveiled the official UK Trailer for British indie thriller Reawakening coming to Digital platforms next week.

The film marks the sophomore feature for BAFTA nominated filmmaker Virginia Gilbert. Amongst the TV work and short films, we have to go back to 2013 and A Long Way From Home starring James Fox, Natalie Dormer.

Reawakening stars Jared Harris, Juliet Stevenson and Erin Doherty.  We follow an older couples John and Mary whose daughter  Clare returns home  after running away 10 years previously.  Mary is very happy  that Clare is back, but John questions if their daughter is who she claims to be.

John and Mary have lived in an agonising limbo of grief and guilt for the past ten years. Their only child, Claire, ran away from home when she was fourteen and no trace of her whereabouts has ever been found. When Clare returns, now a young woman of twenty-four, Mary is overjoyed. But John comes to believe that Clare is not who she claims to be. As old tensions resurface, a gripping search for the truth unfolds. Starring Jared Harris (Chernobyl), Juliet Stevenson (Bend It Like Beckham) and Erin Doherty (The Crown), Reawakening is written and directed by Virginia Gilbert (A Long Way from Home).

Reawakening is available on Digital Platforms from 18th November in the UK and Ireland.
