Lightbulb Film Distribution have released the UK Trailer For Claustrophobic Horror thriller The Seeding.

The film marks the directorial feature debut for music video director Barnaby Clay. The film stars Scott Haze (Jurassic World Dominion, What Josiah Saw) and Kate Lyn Sheil (She Dies Tomorrow, You’re Next).

The film made it’s world premiere last year at Tribeca Film Festival with UK Premiere at Pigeon Shrine FrightFest. A new year is now with us, next month the film will make it’s Digital premiere.

If you enjoyed The Hills Have Eyes, your probably going to enjoy this one. The difference is this time the cannibal savages are replaced by feral children. Regardless each film equally terrifying for those stuck in the middle.

The premise for The Seeding is simple. A mysterious woman trapped and held captive by feral children with a man trapped in the canyon. Are the man and woman connected or simply 2 strangers?

Clay commented on his film “The Seeding deals with big themes, but in a small, contained way, almost like a brutal adult version of a children’s story or fable – something to bore under your skin and stick around for a while. I hope, like all great horror, it speaks some truth about human nature, even if it’s a side we’d rather not see.

You can also see a big ‘Ozploitation’ influence with the likes of Wake In Fright. Check out the trailer below…
