Watch UK Trailer For Acclaimed The Voice Of Hind Rajab
It’s been the talk of the film festivals and soon Altitude Films will release it in cinemas. Today they release the UK Trailer for The Voice Of Hind Rajab, it’s a harrowing watch.
The documentary film debuted at the Venice Film Festival where it won the Silver Lion. The film would win a further 12 awards and is now selected by Tunisia as its official entry for Best International Feature Film at the Academy Awards.
The Voice Of Hind Rajab is directed by Ben Hania (Four Daughters), and based on the killing of a young girl Hind Rajab. A 5 year year old girl trapped under a car pleading for her life, no one could help her.
Our writer Clotilde Chinnici watched the film at BFI London Film Festival last month. Clotilde called the film a ‘heartbreaking watch’, describing it as a “genre-bending cinematic techniques, approach to documenting reality, and revolutionary potential make it a unique and groundbreaking film“.

Synopsis | January 29, 2024. Red Crescent volunteers receive an emergency call. A 5-year-old girl is trapped in a car under fire in Gaza, pleading for rescue. While trying to keep her on the line, they do everything they can to get an ambulance to her… Her name was Hind Rajab.

The Voice of Hind Rajab will be released in UK and Irish cinemas on 16th January 2026. However this Friday 28th November is International Day of Solidarity Palestinian People (29th) and they’ll be preview screenings of the film, check Altitude website for details.
