Watch UK Trailer And Featurette For Jordan Peele’s Get Out

If someone asked you “would you like to watch a serious horror movie created by an established comedian that’s getting a near perfect score on Rotten tomatoes, you would laugh? Probably. Jordan Peele of Key & Peele fame will be laughing at you, as later this month his directorial feature Get Out will make its UK cinematic debut. On the crest of a wave of fantastic reviews and today, Universal Pictures have sent us the movies the official UK trailer next to a behind the scene featurette. Tease about the movie and the man behind the movie, Jordan Peele.

In the FeaturetteA Look Inside…‘ we take a look at the movie with Peele who chats about his inspirations behind the movie. Why he made the movie and why he believes the movie is very important too, check it out…

In Get Out, a speculative thriller from Blumhouse (producers of The Visit, Insidious series and The Gift) and the mind of Jordan Peele, when a young African-American man visits his white girlfriend’s family estate, he becomes ensnared in a more sinister real reason for the invitation.

Now that Chris (Daniel Kaluuya, Sicario) and his girlfriend, Rose (Allison Williams, Girls), have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy (Catherine Keener, Captain Phillips) and Dean (Bradley Whitford, The Cabin in the Woods). At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behaviour as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined.

Many people line up to rip the horror genre apart who believe the creativity has been used over and over, all life has been drained. Partly true, but if you step back, take a minute and think about it, it’s the best genre for social commentary. Even reflecting the political situation of a country and how people deal with racism which at the moment divisions have broken out. We’re so excited to check this out and last week at Glasgow Film Festival many cinephiles pinned their hopes (including us) it would have been the surprise movie, Sadly it wasn’t to be.

Not long to go now as Get Out is set for 17th March UK&Irish cinema release. Starring Daniel Kaluuya, Allison Williams, Bradley Whitford, Caleb Landry Jones, Stephen Root, Lakeith Stanfield and Catherine Keener.
