We’re used to seeing her as century old vampire, or an foul mouthed schoolgirl assassin now  Chloe Grace Moretz  is back in life death situation in the romantic YA drama If I Stay, watch UK Trailer.

This is not the same type of life & death situations we’ve known the young actress to be in, this is fully grounded in reality and in Young Adult novel territory. A tearjerker flick instead of the usual dystopian films that have been dominating the young adult sub genre recently but one of romance. If I Stay  we meet Mia (Moretz) a young musical prodigy who experiences first love with rocker Adam (Jamie Blackley) but as she tries to balance her musical ambitions with her personal life, tragedy strikes. Mia is involved in a car crash that left her in a coma and her parents dead but will she chose live on or choose death?

Based around the best selling Gayle Forman novel If I Stay is a film that’s been in development limbo for a long time a film that was originally planned with Dakota Fanning in the lead role. Like many Young Adult  films it’s really up to  personal choice, do you enjoy them and if you do this looks a solid effort, maybe one of those girlie night outs or first date?

If I Stay doesn’t have an official UK release date just yet however we now have the first trailer expect it sometime during summer late autumn. The film also stars Mireille Enos, Joshua Leonard,Lauren Lee Smith, Jakob Davies and Liana Liberato.

Synopsis
