Watch Trailer To Joe Berlinger’s Confronting a Serial Killer

In these lockdown times we find a lot of our entertainment from the streaming channels. True Crime enthusiasts Starzplay has your latest binge watch choice with Confronting a Serial Killer.

The five part series comes from filmmaker Joe Berlinger ( The Ted Bundy Tapes, Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich, Crime Scene: The Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel. and Murder Among the Mormons), who has made a name for himself for feeding True Crime fans with many series. The series is about to make it’s world premiere at SXSW and starzplay have released the Trailer for the series ahead of it’s premiere next month on the channel.

The docuseries will focus on one of U.S prolific serial Killers, Sam Little. His relationship with journalist/author Jillian Lauren and identifying his victims. Little may have died Lauren is determined to deliver justice and not forget the victims as well as their families.

This intense and comprehensive series tells the timely story of the unprecedented relationship between acclaimed author and journalist Jillian Lauren and the most prolific serial killer in American history, Sam Little, and her race against time to identify his victims before it’s too late. Little recently died in prison at the age of 80, after avoiding justice for his crimes for decades.

Through the perspectives of Lauren and several female investigators, survivors and victims’ family members, “Confronting a Serial Killer” shines a light on systemic issues in the American criminal justice system including bias against marginalized communities, particularly women of color, and those struggling with addiction, mental illness and trauma.

Confronting a Serial Killer first episode will be released by Starzplay in the UK, Ireland on 18th April. The series will also launch same day on Starzplay in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Latin America, Luxembourg, Spain, Netherlands, and Switzerland.
