K-Pop D.O stars in The Moon coming to UK in May

Watch Trailer For Intense Korean Space Survival Thriller The Moon

Later this month K-Pop artist D.O will be lost in space in The Moon, Today Altitude Films tease us with an intense trailer for Korean Space Survival Thriller.

The film is directed by Yong-hwa Kim (Along With The Gods), starring Do Kyung-soo, aka D.O. For anyone not in the know he is a member of superstar K-pop group Exo, as an astronaut stranded in space after a lunar mission goes disastrously wrong.

If you enjoyed the likes of Gravity, The Martian even Apollo 13 and more recently Adam Sandler’s Spaceman. The film has won awards and rave audience reviews for its special effects and nerve-wracking drama.

The trailer pushes the intensity, so much flying around you wonder if this would be awesome in IMAX?

Seven years after Korea’s first fully manned mission to the moon ends in disaster, a second human spaceflight is launched successfully—until a strong solar wind causes the spacecraft to malfunction. With an astronaut left stranded in space and quickly running out of oxygen, the Naro Space Center turns to its former managing director to avert yet another fatal catastrophe.

The film also stars Sul Kyung-gu, plus Kim Hee-ae, Jo Han-chul, and Park Byung Eun.

The Moon will be available on Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K UHD+BD Steelbook, as well as digital platforms in the UK and Ireland, from 27th May.
