Synopsis | To celebrate this momentous anniversary, this new documentary traces the explosion of punk on Londonโs Kings Road and is the most authentic insider account of punkโs evolution and legacy, by the artists and people who lived it. Fifty years on, punkโs core values of individuality, creativity, authenticity and freedom, are more relevant than ever. Punk was never about the music – it is a way of life.

50 Years Of Punk will be shown in UK Cinemas from 18th September. A special Q&A preview screening with director Mark Sloper will be taking place at Showroom Sheffield on Wednesday 16th September at 8pm.
