They broke news and today Studiocanal UK bring us the first Trailer for Danny Boyle‘s Ink and boy this looks a wild trailer!
After working back to back films with Boyle with 28 Years Later and 28 Years Later: Bone Temple, Jack O’Connell reunite. After the infected and the Jimmy’s the intensity continues in the smoke filled Newspaper offices. He called himself the best editor in history, Larry Lamb (O’Connell) and what we call tabloid press.
This also stars Guy Pearce as Rupert Murdoch, and Claire Foy as Jules Davies along with Blake Harrison, Patrick Kennedy, Angus Imrie, and Brian Gleeson.
Ink is a heartracing new drama depicting the rapid rise of The Sun newspaper under its owner Rupert Murdoch and editor Larry Lamb, and how it would come to change the face of news forever.
This looks a kinetic drama, typical style and tone from Mr.Boyle. Lamb probably the man who has given us some of the trashiest, low life scandalous stories. Lets see his story and hopefully learn his mindset even if it’s a slice, stay tuned the film makes it’s world premiere at Venice.

Danny Boyle directs INK which is based on the Tony-nominated play by multi-Olivier award-winning playwright and screenwriter James Graham (Dear England, Sherwood, Brexit), Graham has written the screenplay.
Ink will be in UK and Irish Cinemas from 8th January 2027. The film will make it’s UK premiere on 12th October at BFI London Film Festival.
