Watch the UK Trailer For Comedy The Other Way Around

AX1 Films have sent us other the UK Trailer for Spanish indie drama comedy The Other Way Around.

Jonás Trueba’s award-winning film is set to be released in the UK next month. It played BFI London Film Festival and Dublin last year with it’s debut at Cannes Film Festival. It was awarded the Europa Cinemas Label for Best European Film at Cannes Film Festival Directors’ Fortnight 2024.

The Other Way Around (also known by it’s Spanish name Volveréis), follows a couple who have been together for 15 years. Ale and Alex decided after all those years together to separate and like a wedding hold a party. This leaves friends and family confused and wondering if they are sure in what they are doing.

After 15 years together, Ale and Alex have come up with the crazy idea of throwing a party to celebrate their break-up – like a wedding but the other way around. While their friends and family are sceptical, they seem to be sure of their decision. Or are they really?

The film stars Itsaso Arana, Vito Sanz and Fernando Trueba. The Other Way Around will be in UK and Irish cinemas from 11th July.
