Watch The Skies UK Trailer Wants You To Believe

We all want to believe and so do Signature Entertainment. Today the release the UK Trailer for sci-fi thriller Watch The Skies, heading to UK cinemas next month.

This award winning Swedish film will be released in dubbed, but dubbed using groundbreaking AI technology. The mouth movements of characters have been digitally altered to sync up with the English dubbing. The Brutalist used this technology between Adrien Brody and Felicity Jones when they ‘spoke’ Hungarian.

Watch The Skies is calling themselves ‘This love child of The X Files and Stranger Things’. Inez Dahl Torhaug stars as Denis in this and she befriend members of UFO Sweden club. Together they investigate unexplained events and her quest to find her father whom she believes was abducted by aliens.

I do enjoy watching films mostly in the original language of the film. If this technology will get those people who ignore films because of subtitles, we’re on to a winner, what do you think?

This love child of The X Files and Stranger Things will make you want to believe. The association UFO Sweden investigates supernatural phenomena. One day, teenage rebel Denise shows up with a case unlike anything they’ve seen before. Together they embark on a risky adventure, which takes them far beyond the law’s borders and into a world of unexplained phenomena.

The film also stars Eva Melander (Border), Jesper Barkselius (The Unthinkable), Sara Shirpey (State of Happiness), Håkan Ehn (The Unthinkable), Isabelle Kyed, Niklas Kvarnbo Jönsson, plus Mathias Lithner (Lasermannen).

Watch The Skies will be exclusively released in the UK in Showcase Cinemas from 11th July.
