Good Boy coming to FrightFest this month watch UK Trailer

They say a dog is man’s best friend, in Good Boy man is the ‘dog’!  It’s time to play and watch the UK Trailer for this truly bizarre Norwegian horror thriller…walkies!

Good Boy looks a chilling and twisted feature from up-and-coming Norwegian filmmakers, director Viljar Bøe and producer Karl Oskar Åsli (Til Freddy). It stars Gard Løkke who happens to be millionaire heir Christian who meets Sigrid (Katrine Lovise Øpstad Fredrikse) va an dating app. She thinks she’s found the ‘one’, however he lives with a man who lives as a dog! After adjusting things look great, however things unfold when we learn everything might still not be what it seems.

This looks like one of those WTF moments that some reviews say it’s compelling. It might have some heart, overall it looks absolutely bonkers!

Synopsis | In this bold and original Scandinavian horror, Sigrid (Katrine Lovise Øpstad Fredrikse) thinks she’s met the perfect match with the charming and handsome Christian (Gard Løkke, Netflix’s Troll), but there is one catch – he lives with a man who acts like his pet dog. Trying to be open-minded, Sigrid continues the relationship but begins to notice an insidious under-tone to Christian. Maybe ‘puppy play’ isn’t as innocent as it seems.

The film stars , Katrine Lovise Øpstad Fredriksen, Amalie Willoch Njaastad, and Nicolai Narvesen Lied. Good Boy will make it’s UK Premiere at Pigeon Shrine FrightFest on 28th August [more info/buy tickets]. Blue Finch Film Releasing will give the film a UK and Irish digital release on 11th September.
