Later this month, it’s time to travel into the ‘danger zone’ as Netflix release the official Trailer for Mosul. The Russo Brothers produced actioner with Matthew Michael Carnahan on his directorial debut. After years of script writing the likes of World War Z, Deepwater Horizon, Dark Waters and 21 Bridges. The latter involved had The Russo’s involvement, this film once again made in-between The Avengers films.
This one premiered at Venice Film Festival, a story of heroism and true events. As a Iraqi SWAT team fight to defend their homes from ISIS militants against the odds.

When ISIS took their homes, families and city, one group of men fought to take it all back. After inexperienced Iraqi cop Kawa (Adam Bessa) is rescued from a harrowing firefight by the elite Nineveh SWAT team, he’s quickly inducted into the rogue squadron, a band of ten brothers-in-arms led by the wise Major Jasem (Suhail Dabbach). Under constant threat of attack, the unit embarks on a dangerous guerrilla operation, determined to wipe out an enemy base and restore order to the lawless territory. An extraordinary true story of heroism in the face of overwhelming odds, MOSUL is written and directed by Matthew Michael Carnahan and produced by Anthony and Joe Russo.
The film stars Suhail Dabbach, Adam Bessa, Is’haq Elias, plus Hayat Kamille, Waleed Elgadi, Thaer Al-Shayei, Ben Affan, and Mohimen Mahbuba.
Mosul will premiere on Netflix from 26th November.
