Dazzler Media have released the UK Trailer for critically acclaimed documentary, Once Were Brothers: Robbie Robertson and The Band. The film made it’s world premiere at last year’s Toronto Film Festival which can boast Martin Scorsese, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard amongst it’s executive producers.

The film actually opened TIFF which is rare for an major international film festival. It left the festival with some fantastic reviews and this September you can own the film. The film is inspired by Robbie Roberston‘s memoir ‘Once Were Brothers‘, an moving tale of Robbie’s life battling adversity and friendship with four other men he would call ‘brother’.

The film promises to be emotional, funny and a story of caution, off course great music…

Inspired by the best-selling memoir, Once Were Brothers is the critically acclaimed documentary and a confessional, cautionary and occasionally humorous tale of Robbie Robertson’s young life and the creation of one of the most enduring groups in the history of music, The Band. The film is a moving story of Robertson’s personal journey, overcoming adversity and finding camaraderie alongside the four other men who would become his brothers, together making their mark in music.

Featuring rare archival footage and interviews with Robertsonโ€™s friends and collaborators including Bob Dylan, George Harrison, Bruce Springsteen, Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Peter Gabriel, Martin Scorsese, Taj Mahal, Ronnie Hawkins and more, this must-see documentary is executive produced by Martin Scorsese, Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.
