After the dreadful Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey, the trend has started of those iconic cartoon and fairy tale characters getting their own horror film. Of Course these are the characters now in public domain. Bambi, Cinderella , Peter Pan, there is some horror filmmaker ready to destroy your childhood. As in this film it’s Steamboat Willie the original Mickey Mouse short animation is now in Public Domain, and now slaughtering many.

What is The Mouse Trap all about? Directed by Jamie Bailey, a young woman celebrates her 21st birthday working at the lost amusement arcade. Just when her friends arrange a surprise, a more deadlier surprise awaits in the shape of a killer wearing a Mickey Mouse mask.

Cheap, cringeworthy and nasty…

It’s Alex’s 21st Birthday, but she’s stuck at the amusement arcade on a late shift so her friends decide to surprise her, but a masked killer dressed as Mickey Mouse decides to play a game of his own with them which she must survive.

The cast for this one includes Sophie McIntosh, Callum Sywyk, Allegra Nocita, Ben Harris, Damir Kovic, Mackenzie Mills, Nick Biskupek, and Simon Phillips.

The Mouse Trap will be on digital platforms and DVD in the UK and Ireland from 30th September.
