Watch The New Music of RIO Featurette

When it comes to movies we first concentrate on the actual story/plot and take eveything else for granted which is okay for some movies for others it could be fatale in the sucess of the flick. Music is that vital link between the movie and the movie and the audience which helps to try build those emotions we should be getting with the movie we’re watching but theres one type of movie which relys alot on music and thats family  Animation. One of those movies is RIO which will be out April 8th which tells the story about Blu (Jesse Eisenberg)the domesticated rare Macaw who embarks on adventure in south america Rio de Janiero with Jewel(Anne Hathaway) a female Macaw and love at first sight . This featurette has a look at the movies music and the importance of it and why the movie has great music, soul, a story and full of  heartfelt emotion.

Jamie Foxx, will.i.am, Tracy Morgan, George Lopez, Jane Lynch, Wanda Sykes, Leslie Mann, Jermanine Clement, Rodrigo Santoro and is directed by Carlos Saldanha (Ice Age: The Meltdown, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs) with the movie due April 8th.

RIO is a 3-D animation feature from the makers of the “Ice Age” films.  Set in the magnificent city of Rio de Janeiro and the lush rainforest of Brazil, the comedy-adventure centers on Blu, a rare macaw who thinks he is the last of his kind. When Blu discovers there’s another – and that it’s a “she” – he leaves the comforts of his cage in small town Minnesota and heads to Rio. But it’s far from love at first sight between the domesticated, flight-challenged Blu and the fiercely independent, high-flying female, Jewel. Unexpectedly thrown together, they embark on an adventure of a lifetime, where they learn about friendship, love, courage and being open to life’s many wonders.  RIO brings together a menagerie of vivid characters, a heart-warming story, colorful backdrops, energizing Latin and contemporary music, and family-friendly song and dance.
