His latest film is coming later this month has The Big Bang Theory‘s Jim Parsons leading the cast. The film tells the story of a group of gay men gather for a birthday party in 1968 New York City, only to find the drinks and laughs interrupted when a visitor from the hostโs past turns the evening upside down.
Too long people see Parsons more for his humour, we forget he has dramatic chops and this film is another chance for him to show those chops off.
Based on the Tony Award-winning play that changed a generation, The Boys in the Band follows a group of nine gay men who gather for a birthday party in 1968 New York City – only to find the drinks and laughs interrupted when a visitor from the hostโs past turns the evening upside down.
Co-Starring Zachary Quinto, Matt Bomer, Andrew Rannells, Charlie Carver, Robin de Jesรบs, Brian Hutchison, Michael Benjamin Washington, and Tuc Watkins.
The Boys In The Band will launch globally on Netflix on 30th September 2020.
