Next month Amazon Prime Video are set to release a modern musical version of the classic Cinderella Story. Tonight they have sent us over the official Trailer for the film which you can watch below.

This version of the classic fairytale is directed by Kay Cannon with songs from Camila Cabello and Idina Menzel who are also both starring in the film too.

Cabello stars as titular heroine, a young woman bursting with ambition, full of dreams and ideas. Thanks to Fab G (Billy Porter) those dreams might be about to come true.

How modern this version of the classic story is up for debate. Billy Porter as a genderless ‘fairy godmother’ looks the main standout, as for the actual film looks like one of these direct to TV films. So maybe Prime Video is the best place for the film.
