Homebound (Blue Finch Film Releasing) (2021)

Blood is thicker than water and in the creepy and atmospheric Trailer for UK chiller Homebound, nothing as it seems.

Blue Finch Films have sent us the UK promo for Sebastian Godwin‘s directorial feature and if you love Jack Clayton‘s The Innocents (1961), you might be in for a treat. Meeting the siblings or family of your new love of life can wreck anyone’s nerves. What if you sense things aren’t right when you meet them?

Richard decides to introduce his new partner Holly to meet his estranged children. However his ex-wife is nowhere to be seen, and despite this the meeting goes better than expected. The kids suddenly start to act strange, more disturbing to point leading Holly to discover a dark, twisted secret.

The film debuted at last year’s Fantastic Fest to great reviews. The film was supported by the Film London’s Microwave project which gives support to upcoming emerging talent from the city…

When Richard decides to take his new girlfriend Holly home to meet his three estranged children, Lucia, Ralph and Anna, they soon discover his ex-wife missing and the children behaving strangely. As their actions become gradually more disturbing, Holly begins to unearth a dark and twisted secret.

The film stars Aisling Loftus (A Discovery of Witches),Tom Goodman-Hill (Humans), Hattie Gotobed (Beast), Raffiella Chapman (Infinite) , and Lukas Rolfe (Will).

Homebound will be released in UK and Irish cinemas from 1st April, then released on Digital Platforms from 4th April. The film will make it’s UK Premiere at Frightfest at Glasgow Film Festival on Friday 11th March [more info/buy tickets].
