Watch Second UK Trailer For The Hotly Anticipated ‘Spencer’

A lot has happened since Pablo Larrain‘s Spencer first trailer. The film has made it’s world premiere at Venice Film Festival to great acclaim. It’s been to Telluride and Toronto both festivals gathering even more praise, now it’s London. Ahead of that UK Premiere, STX Films have released a second UK Trailer which showcase this film will be challenging for the Oscars.

This film focuses on one weekend in the life of Princess Diana, as she spends the Christmas holiday with the royal family at the Sandringham estate in Norfolk, and decides to leave her marriage to Prince Charles.

Once again the trailer uses Perfect Day which gives the film an haunting tone. If you enjoyed Jackie, this looks like will take things to the next level. Once again Stewart proving there is life after Twilight Saga, unhinged, vulnerable , lonely shell of the much loved and missed Royal. Polish that shelf you might have a Oscar (or two) coming your way.

The marriage of Princess Diana and Prince Charles has long since grown cold. Though rumours of affairs and a divorce abound, peace is ordained for the Christmas festivities at the Queen’s Sandringham Estate. There’s eating and drinking, shooting and hunting.
