Watch Season Two Trailer For Apple TV Your Friends and Neighbors

Fans of the Apple TV series Your Friends and Neighbors have received double the good news recently with the release of a teaser trailer for the second season as well as confirmation that the show has been picked up for a third season.

Your Friends and Neighbors is the dark-comedy crime drama by Banshee creator Jonathan Trooper. It features the cast of Jon Hamm, Amanda Peet, Olivia Munn, Mark Tallman, Hoon Lee, Lena Hall, and Aimee Carrero and centres on a divorced hedge fund manager based in New York who delves into a hidden life of crime to keep his family living to his standard of lavish.

In a three-star review of the first series, The People’s Movies shared: “The performances are great, particularly Hamm’s and Olivia Munn’s as Coop’s secret mistress. The dialogue is punchy and memorable; it’s shot really well and has top-drawer production values. It has a nice level of disdain for these repulsively rich one-percenters, and a late-season episode that dispenses with the main plot altogether to follow Coop and his ex-wife (Amanda Peet) taking their daughter to see a potential college is actually quite lovely.”

However, there was an address towards how this praise “applies to basically every splashy, prestigious TV show these days.”

Apple TV have confirmed a 3rd April release date for the show’s second season, scheduled to contain 10 episodes which will air every Friday until a set completion date of 5th June for the series climax. They have also assured that there will be a follow-up season after the second.

Official synopsis | “In season two, Andrew Cooper doubles down on his life as an unlikely suburban thief, until the arrival of a new neighbour threatens to expose his secrets and place his family at risk.”

“Life is better than it’s been for a while,” Cooper opens the latest trailer with. “But a town where perception is nine-tenths of the law, you have to keep up appearances.”

“This a ‘Thomas Crown’ kind of thing?” new star James Marden asks Cooper. “Rich guy so bored with his life, he risks it all just to feel alive.”
