The film is the directorial feature debut for Lisa Joy the co-creator/ writer behind Westworld TV series. The sci-fi thriller sees Jackman reunite with his The Greatest Showman co-star Rebecca Ferguson. Things take place in the near future Jackman plays a ‘Mind Detective’ Nick, who helps clients access to lost memories. His life changes when a new client Mae (Ferguson) whom he becomes dangerously obsessed with.

This does have a Inception vibe/look to it, ironically Jonathan Nolan (brother of Chris and husband of director) wrote this film’s script and Inception! There is also a Minority Report, big Film Noir vibe with the dark detective story mixed with femme fatale/romance spin.
