Watch THE DICTATOR UK Premier Report, Anchorman 2 Trailer Attached To The Dictator?!

Hail our great leader, his excellency General Aladeen of the People’s Republic of Wadiya! Last night he graced with his presence in London last night for the U.K premiere of THE DICTATOR once again surrounded by his female ‘virgin’ super guards arriving to the red carpet event sitting in his expensive sports car which is on the back of a tow truck?! Below in the shape of ‘fake news report’ we see short interviews from Anna Faris, Aasif Mandvi, The General himself (Sacha Baron Cohen) and director Larry Charles. Unfortunately we haven’t seen the film yet the film does look a shift in direction for the British actor, from characters in a mock documentary to an actual real feature. With the three year deal recently announced you wonder if this is the new direction for Baron Cohen who really knows but we’re excited here to see this one when it comes out next week.

Staying The Dictator despite not even having a full script or the fact filming doesn’t start  until February 2013 news has broke that Anchorman 2 will have a teaser trailer shown in the previews for The Dictator! Director Adam McKay made the announcement earlier today when he tweeted: “See the Dictator (I worked on it and it’s crazy funny), in addition to Campaign trailer with Zach and Will there’s another treat before it.”

We don’t know exactly how long the teaser is or what we’ll see but what this teaser will do is confirm The Channel 4 newsteam with Roy Burgundy (Will Ferrell) is returning (as we  mentioned in March ) with Steve Carrell, Paul Rudd and David Koechner also reported to return to reprise their roles. What we do know is that the story will be based on the evolution of news to a 24 hour format! As this news is American based we have no confirmations that the teaser will play in The Dictator previews here in UK&Ireland however its likely it will as the film is released Stateside the same day. Whatever way we will bring you the teaser when it comes available, so in the words of Terry Crews with The Expendables 2 its time to Punk’d up as the legend that is Roy Burgundy will return Christmas 2014 or Summer 2014!
