Watch Awesome Star Wars Eclipse Game ‘Cinematic’ Trailer

A few years ago at The Peoples Movies we did try to cover video games on the site. We’ll be honest we did it unsuccessfully, it doesn’t mean we won’t cover gaming again. When you watch the Cinematic Trailer for Star Wars Eclipse Game, you have to post it, it’s awesome!

The Trailer was unveiled this week at the video game awards. The game is still in early development with French developers Quantic Dream with help from Lucasfilm. We don’t know much yet about the story apart from it will be set during the High Republic era. If you don’t know apparently this era before the Skywalker era, despite being a fairly new era it’s been seen in other books and comic books.

This would be potentially a big step in the franchise expansion, could this be the era the future Star Wars franchise. Or will the film franchise direction still up in air, confusing everyone? Plenty of new characters, familiar and new planets with the gaming experience described as very interactive.

From the buzz online from this trailer, Star Wars fans are getting really excited for this one. Watching the 3 minute promo you can see why, if it was an actual film the excitement would be indescribable…

Set during the High Republic era, Star Wars Eclipse is an intricately branching action-adventure game that can be experienced in many ways, and puts the destinies of multiple playable characters in your hands, created in collaboration between Quantic Dream and Lucasfilm Games.
