Wake Up And Watch The Very Trippy Coma Trailer
Dark Sky Films have released the Official Trailer for Russian Sci-Fi action thriller Coma. The film is the directorial feature debut for Nikita Argunov, who made his name in Russian cinema as a Special FX artist. As expected this film has some terrific special effects, at times trying to look a little like Inception (scenery folding in half). But a little more like a video game.
In Coma (or Koma) a young architect joins a rogue group of fighters in the dystopian world COMA, where together they must uncover the secret of their shared nightmare.
After a tragic accident, a young architect wakes up in a dystopian world: Coma. Here, reality is made from the memories of people who have fallen into a comatose state. Cities, rivers and the sky all flow in and out of each other -fragmented and unstable just like our memories. The common laws of physics don’t exist and nightmarish reapers roam the land spreading death. Having lost most of his own memory, the architect must develop new skills to survive and adapt to the chaos around him. On his search for a way back to reality, he joins a rogue group of fighters and discovers a secret that will affect their lives forever.
The film stars Irina Starshenbaum, Rinal Mukhametov, Anton Pampushnyy, Lyubov Aksyonova, Milos Bikovic, and Konstantin Lavronenko.
There’s no UK or Irish release date, over in the USA Dark Sky Films will release Coma direct to DVD and VOD from 4th August.
