Unwrap The UK Trailer For Aml Ameen’s Rom-Com Boxing Day

This Christmas, going home is far from a holiday, as Warner Bros Pictures reveal the Official UK Trailer and Poster for festive rom com Boxing Day.

The film stars Aml Ameen who also directs in his directorial feature debut. British film has became renowned for those festive romantic films with Love Actually possibly the most famous of them all. This one may not be blessed for originality, fans of these films don’t care and this one has some Caribbean humour thrown in.

Ameen plays Melvin a British-Caribbean author living in the U.S who returns home for Christmas season to introduce his American fiancé (Aja Naomi King). Only find himself tested all thanks to his ex-girlfriend who is now an international pop star.

It’s cliched, cheesy most of all one of those films that will fall under that ‘Feel Good’ banner. For anyone who is not British, Boxing Day is the day after Christmas Day usually the day we recover from the over indulgence from the day before. This is also the light-hearted films you would watch on Boxing Day!

Melvin, a British author living in America, returns home to London for the holidays to introduce his American fiancé (Lisa) to his eccentric British-Caribbean family. Their relationship is put to the test, as she discovers the world Melvin left behind revolves around his ex-girlfriend (Georgia), who is now an international pop star!

The film also stars Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Tamara Lawrance, Sheyi Cole, Samson Kayo, Joshua Maloney, Lisa Davina Phillip, Claire Skinner, Stephen Dillane.

Boxing Day will be released in the UK and Ireland from 3rd December.
