Umbrella Academy Season 2 Trailer, Time Travel ,Cults, Another Apocalypse

Same weird family. New weird problems. Netflix have revealed the Official Trailer for Umbrella Academy Season 2 which promise cults, Time travelling and another apocalypse?

The weirdness of Umbrella Academy is what fans love of this series. It celebrates that proudly and now the family are in the 1960’s it brings a whole new set of problems. The main focus is to attempt to ‘fix’ the problem that caused the apocalyptic ending in season 1.

Ill admit I’ve never read the comic books the series is based, I did learn the first series was only loosely based on a major story arc. So it’s a little tricky to say how the new season will go, it’s gonna be crazy
and entertaining!

Five warned his family (so, so many times) that using his powers to escape from Vanya’s 2019 apocalypse was risky. Well, he was right – the time jump scatters the siblings in time in and around Dallas, Texas. Over a three year period. Starting in 1960. Some, having been stuck in the past for years, have built lives and moved on, certain they’re the only ones who survived. Five is the last to land, smack dab in the middle of a nuclear doomsday, which – spoiler alert! – turns out is a result of the group’s disruption of the timeline (déjà vu, anyone?). Now the Umbrella Academy must find a way to reunite, figure out what caused doomsday, put a stop to it, and return to the present timeline to stop that other apocalypse. All while being hunted by a trio of ruthless Swedish assassins. But seriously, no pressure or anything.

The series stars stars Ellen Page, Mary J. Blige, Cameron Britton, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Colm Feore, Adam Godley, John Magaro, Ashley Madekwe and Kate Walsh.

The Umbrella Academy season 2 launches on Netflix 31st July 2020.
