UK Trailer For SALMON FISHING IN YEMEN Starring Emily Blunt,Ewan McGregor

I’m there was lot’s of people thinking “why have they made a film about fishing?” probably thinking how desperate the actor must be to want to star in this one? Well SALMON FISHING IN YEMEN is one of those films that falls into the category never judge a book by it’s cover, it may sound an uninteresting film but read between the line and you’ll know there’s more to this that meets the eye. Starring Ewan McGregor, Emily Blunt , Kristin Scott Thomas, Amr Waked and Rachel Stirling based on a Paul Torday novel of the same name with Lasse Hallstrom directing. Last month we brought you the American version of the trailer and today Lionsgate have released the UK version which is near enough same intro but expands on the footage, still highlighting the charm and wit this film brings with McGregor and Blunt chemistry making this a film to check out on its release on March 9th.
When Britain’s leading fisheries expert (Ewan McGregor) is approached by a consultant (Emily Blunt) to help realize a sheikh’s (Amr Waked) vision of bringing the sport of fly-fishing to the desert, he immediately thinks the project is both absurd and unachievable. But when the Prime Minister’s overzealous press secretary (Kristin Scott Thomas) latches on to it as a “good will” story, this unlikely team will put it all on the line and embark on an upstream journey of faith and fish to prove the impossible, possible.
