UK Trailer For The Oak Room Starring RJ Mitte Has A Story To Tell
Listen up Lightbulb Film Distribution have a story to tell as they release the UK Trailer for The Oak Room. The claustrophobic Canadian indie thriller stars Breaking Bad‘s RJ Mitte a drifter with a story to tell, will it pay for his debt?
The film made it’s world premiere at last year’s Fantasia Fest as well as heading to Grimmfest. Next month the film will receive it’s general release and when your snowed in what better way to pass time is tell stories.
In this one we find ourselves in a remote bar ‘The Oak Room’ , a snowstorm rages outside. An drifter (Mitte) offers to pay off his tab ‘debt’ by telling a story, however thing spiral out of control and what follows is deceit, mistaken identity and a night of violence.
Whilst the trailer may portray this might be a straight dark thriller, we see this has more twists and turns than the Amalfi Drive. We like!
During a raging snowstorm, a drifter (RJ Mitte) offers to settle a debt with a grizzled bartender by telling him a story. The night’s events quickly spiral into a dark tale of deceit, mistaken identity and shocking violence.
The film also includes Peter Outerbridge, Nicholas Campbell, Martin Roach, David Ferry, and Ari Millen.
The Oak Room is coming to Digital Download from 26th April in the UK and Ireland. Lightbulb Film Distribution are releasing the film on 28th April in Australia and New Zealand. If you live in Canada Black Fawn Films will release it 27th April.
