Twilight Saga Star Ed Gathegi Joins The X-Men:First Class cast

Well there is a Twilight Saga actor heading to The X-Men:First Class cast and it’s not Taylor Lautner but Ed Gathegi. If your not a Twihard you may ask who he is, he plays dreadlocked Vampire Laurent in Stephenie Meyer’s popular books cum movies and accdording to Deadline he is to play the mutant Darwin.
Back in my younger days I was a massive x-men/spiderman/batman comics but I have to say Darwin is an unfamilar character to myself and in the Marvel universe website, his character is regarded as a biracial mutant with evolutionary powers hence the name Darwin! I wonder if Matthew Vaughn is trying to create his own Twilight esque franchise here with s many youngsters with so many unknow mutants here. You can understand one or two extra characters along with the core of the group but too many unknowns and will all the male mutants walking around shirtless beefed up like Jacob ala Taylor Lautner?!!
In other X-men juicy gossip Collider still say that deadline are reporting that Kick-Ass aka Aaron Johnson is still in line to play Cyclops but they also say EW are saying he’s not going to be in it as any character, possibly he’s been thrown in due to been in Vaughn’s last movie and directors habit of chossing same actors for many of their projects. Despite been so close now to the date of start of shooting it seems that so many core characters haven’t been confirmed yet it would have been nice if Marvel announced maybe the rest of the cast at Comic-Con, but for now its “is he or isnt he?” is she or isn’t she” for now.
