Tubi’s Sidelined 2: Intercepted Gets An Official Trailer
Since 2024, streaming service Tubi has been freely available in the UK. Today the streamer has unveiled the official Trailer for one of it’s ‘Originals’, Sidelined 2: Intercepted.
Sidelined 2: Intercepted is directed by Justin Wu. As college tests their relationship, a freshman QB and a promising dancer navigate love and distance while searching for who they’re meant to be.
The sequel will also see Charlie Gillespie (Julie and the Phantoms), Sage Linder (Descendants 3) and Roan Curtis (Firefly Lane) joining the cast, as well as James Van Der Beek (Pose) and Drew Ray Tanner (Riverdale) returning to their roles from the original film.
This is one for fans of the young adult and romantic drama genre films. When it comes to a free streaming service, Tubi has a solid catalogue, as in the ‘Tubi Originals‘ we’ll leave that up to personal choice.

Based on Wattpad sensation “The QB Bad Boy and Me” by Tay Marley, SIDELINED 2: INTERCEPTED will focus on freshman star quarterback Drayton (Noah Beck) as he struggles with the weight of expectations after a devastating setback, while dancer Dallas (Siena Agudong) begins to question the future she thought she wanted. As their high school relationship begins to unravel under the pressures of distance and self-discovery, they’ll learn that the bravest versions of themselves emerge when they let life redirect them.
Sidelined 2: Intercepted will be available to watch on Tubi from 27th November. The original film Sidelined: The QB and Me is available now on the channel.
