cars-3

When it comes to Pixar movies we automatically think of Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Wall-E, Finding Dory all critical success for the studio. Cars Franchise has never been able to match the  critical success but it doesn’t mean it’s not worthy of checking out. Second movie critically may not have delivered but next summer Cars 3 is coming and Disney have shipped us over the first UK Trailer.

Owen Wilson is returning as the voice of our franchise hero Lightning McQueen and in the first trailer, he’s got trouble from a new foe, Jackson Storm. Check It Out…

John Lasseter‘s creation has had a rough ride, but the first promo teasers and more ’emotional story’ that will take as back to the first movie. If this works  they maybe riding up ‘Easy Street’ to a better outlook.

Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!

Cars 3  marks the directorial feature debut for longtime Pixar  storyboard artist Brian Fee (Cars, Cars 2, Wall-E) and visually you can see a big difference. They look wonderful and this is one thing that never lacks from any Disney-Pixar movie, sadly sometimes they actual movie doesn’t always live up. We have this one will and at the end of the trailer (49 seconds of it), we’re left with a cryptic clue “From this moment, everything will change.” ?

Cars 3 is set for a 14th July 2017 UK&Irish release date (16th June USA).
