This World Is On Fire In 1st The Divergent Series: Insurgent Trailer

A week before the queen of all YA movies The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is released the first trailer for The Divergent Series: Insurgent has arrived online as Tris goes on the run as her world goes on fire.

The road is going to bumpy for Insurgent and the franchise after the success worldwide of The Hunger Games plus the shaky start the franchise had earlier this year critically. It’s not an easy sub-genre to conquer  but the the teaser poster  slogan below can the second Divergent movie ‘Defy Reality’ and surprise us all at the box office next spring?

In Insurgent the film picks up not long after movie one with the stakes raised for Tris (Shailene Woodley)and Four (Theo James)as both now fugitives on the run from the power hungry Erudite race led by the power hungry leader Jeanine (Kate Winslet). As Tris attempts to gather allies she will attempt to unlock her past and what her family dearly sacrificed themselves for too.

Like the film’s lead character the stake have risen for the film distributors can they deliver the goods after a slow start worldwide for Divergent. They have all the tools in place however it’s all down to the delivery and earning the trust of the books loyal fans for true authenticity. But what is it with YA films when it comes to fire and flames in its marketing?

The Divergent Series: Insurgent will arrive in UK&Irish cinemas from 20th March 2015 co-starring Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller, Jai Courtney, Maggie Q and Naomi Watts
