Sometimes you forget there’s a lot of animated franchises out in filmland some have been and gones others still around nearly forgotten about like this one Madagascar but Autumn 2012 the franchise will be returning! Paramount Pictures tonight have released the first trailer for MADAGASCAR 3:EUROPE’S MOST WANTED which sees our animated animal friends cause havoc in another continent trying to get home to New York City.Ben Stiller, David Schwimmer, Chris Rock and Jada Pinkett Smith all return to play Alex, Melman, Marty and Gloria with Sacha Baron Cohen returning also as the Penguin King bringing a bit of slapstick humour despite some critics believing this franchise should be a direct to dvd release. Whatever you think If the kids love it that’s what matters here.

We’ve got a very long wait until this one arrives in UK&Ireland October 19th, 2012 however American film fans will see this a whopping 4 months earlier on June 8th!

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Gloria the Hippo, and Melman the Giraffe are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple and of course, King Julien, Maurice and the Penguins are all along for the comedic adventure. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent โ€“ Madagascar style.
