When it comes to comedies these days the in-word with film studios is ‘Dramedy’ – drama comedy and Warner Bros have released the trailer for there latest edition to the genre CRAZY,STUPID, LOVE which they released via Apple.

The movie has an excellent cast which includes Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling, Julianne Moore, Emma Stone, Kevin Bacon, Marisa Tomei, singer Josh Groban and Analeigh Tipton. The movie comes from the directors of I Love You Phillip Morris John Requa and Glenn Ficarra which tells the story of a man struggling with his divorce (Carell) and gets guidance from a true ladies man (Gosling) who helps builds his confidence back up. The great thing about these comedies is to find a good balance between the humour and the drama and not fall into the generic routine many comedies do but this movies comes from 2 guys who knocked it off with Phillip Morris as well as Bad Santa , so looking at the evidence things are looking good.

CRAZY, STUPID, LOVE will be released in UK & Ireland September 2nd (July 29 USA).

At fortysomething, straight-laced Cal Weaver (Steve Carell) is living the dreamโ€”good job, nice house, great kids and marriage to his high school sweetheart. But when Cal learns that his wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), has cheated on him and wants a divorce, his โ€œperfectโ€ life quickly unravels. Worse, in todayโ€™s single world, Cal, who hasnโ€™t dated in decades, stands out as the epitome of un-smooth. Now spending his free evenings sulking alone at a local bar, the hapless Cal is taken on as wingman and protege to handsome, thirtysomething player Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling). In an effort to help Cal get over his wife and start living his life, Jacob opens Calโ€™s eyes to the many options before him: flirty women, manly drinks and a sense of style that canโ€™t be found at Supercuts or The Gap. Cal and Emily arenโ€™t the only ones looking for love in what might be all the wrong places: Calโ€™s 13-year-old son, Robbie (Jonah Bobo), is crazy about his 17-year-old babysitter, Jessica (Analeigh Tipton), who harbors a crush on Cal. And despite Calโ€™s makeover and his many new conquests, the one thing that canโ€™t be made over is his heart, which seems to keep leading him back to where he began.
